MSNBC are saying that the House and Senate are determined to finish the vote tonight come hell or highwater, to show the mob won't disrupt their work.

If true, then MAGA may have shut down their chance of even futilely dragging the process out through pointless objections.

To be clear, there is nothing magical about the spaces occupied by the chambers that the terrorists stormed into. Congress is wherever Congress meets, and they do have fallback chambers that are set up with the necessary space and infrastructure.

After some of the shenanigans that Republican congress members pulled regarding secure briefings I would *not* put it past someone like Hawley to try to direct a mob to wherever they meet, but that would be a whole extra level of mask-off incitement.
