THREAD: "Oh, look, it's the consequences of my actions and beliefs."

I have said for months, that the problem with accepting conspiracies is not the first thing you must believe, it's all the things you must believe to remain true to it.
Elections have consequences.

So do ideas.

The problem with the protesters is not that they are outside agitators, attempting to discredit legitimate protesters.

The problem is that they are acting out logical consequences of the claims of conspiracy theorists.
It's not that they are failing the right-wing by behaving badly, it's that they are acting out the logical consequence of what the right-wing has become.

Extreme, angry, increasingly fascist... egged on by countless grifters.
The problem is that no one wants to admit this, they want to stay in theoretical land where they can claim massive fraud, communistic plots, stolen elections, but live in a pretend place where Donald Trump Bears no responsibility for it... and they don't either.
Instead, we should look at crazed right wing protesters occupying the Senate chamber, and innocent staffers cowering under chairs, and say to ourselves, " behold, the consequences of what we believed."
We must recognize that caring only about policies, **more than character** has brought us to this place.

Until we are willing to do this miraculous, healing thing that Christians call repentance, nothing is going to improve... only go underground for a while.
