If you’re surprised about what is going on right now at the Capitol, you haven’t been paying attention for many, many years.

There has been a silent civil war brewing for years; this is just for many people the first real, physical sign. Dissension has reached a boiling point.

This is what happens when you suppress & refuse to address the real, palpable concerns of an entire, broad swath of your citizenry when that swath believes truly that its nation is in existential crisis.

If you think you’re “above” what’s going on, you’re part of the problem.

People bemoaning the inappropriateness of what is happening should have addressed the real concerns of these people more meaningfully, and earlier.

These concerns don’t just go away by ignoring them, or by refusing to hear the substance of ALL cases on the grounds of standing.
