(And because it's me) I wanna bring into the conversation how, a significant part of why the MAGAts feel so empowered to run amok on Capitol Hill (aside from whiteness, obv) is that the 2-party establishment has spent the last few years conceding to them in pretty much every way

...because, really, what the MAGAts are doing now is just the most pure, boiled down reflection of what this whole system actually stands for and idealizes

GOP establishment performed admonishing the likes of 45 back in 2015, just to quickly acquiesce and make the MAGAts into the centerpiece of their politics

...and whatever the GOP does and demands, democrats will always bend to, so here we are...today's happenings were inevitable

And to be 100% honest (and I may feel differently tomorrow, IDK)...in this moment? I'm lowkey here for this.

Because this puts 46-elect & democrats (even GOP but IDGAF about them) in a position where they now have to show their hand. How dems respond to this will be telling.

(But also, racist white people tearing up their own shit is fine with me. Burn all of it down, please. Saves us some work)

I just hope Black and brown folks can stay out of the crossfire of all of this
