how people far from dc or non americans can help with the situation at the us capital ! (a short but ongoing thread)

- do NOT sign us petitions unless foreigners are welcome to sign, the petition could be voided if there are too many foreign signers.
- inform yourself ! read articles or posts from reliable sources. i would recommend the new york times or npr (npr is a little bit leftist tho)+

- if you see an oomf of a tweet with information that OBVIOUSLY needs to be shared, SHARE IT ! send it everywhere !
- (if u can) call the MPD and demand more units to be sent to the capital ! call (202) 737-4404 or call the corruption hotline if youre feeling daring /lh

- call the white house and demand that the president intervenes ! 202-456-1111
- call the mayor of washington dc ! (202) 727-2643

please remember and acknowledge that the protection of the capital is the top priority here, the future of our country is heavily dependent on the meeting that is happening in that building

- if you know someone in washington dc, call them ! they could be very scared or preparing for the worst. comfort your loved ones.
- find ways to support businesses that may have been damaged following the protest, ill find more on this later
