I’m going to say this and be done.

When I got elected, I made a promise that I would use whatever political capital I had to support and uplift Black women who are strategizing and organizing their behinds off-with little or no institutional support.
I don’t need to reinvent the wheel. I need make sure that bad-ass Black women get the resources they need- year ‘round. Many many Black woman have worked magic (aka strategy, organizing years of blood, sweat and tears)
without getting their due or resources. So when we are talking about “Florida’s Stacey Abrams”, I’m not interested in having that conversation unless Black women are being uplifted and centered in a REAL way. Unless Black women are being put in REAL leadership positions
not just positions to placate us. I’m not interested. Until Black women get their due...miss me.
Also- if your first inclination is to silence Black folks, take up space where you shouldn’t....:Bryson Tiller voice: Don’t.
I’m done. PS- this is why I’m supporting @Chestnut4chair for FDP chair.
