True Story:
I was two years behind Josh Hawley in that fancy post-college teaching fellowship at an elite 500-year-old London high school.

At the time I didn't take that seriously. He was a committed, pro-Bush conservative Republican American 22-year-old cheering on the invasion of Iraq...and they were middle-aged kinda-socialist teachers of the London merchant class elite.
But whether or not they were right in the label, what's clear as day is there's nothing - NOTHING - conservative about what he's become and the anti-democratic chaos he helped inspire at the Capitol today.
Totally non-elite Senator Populist Everyman employs the non-word “irregardless” on the Senate floor to distract from his slinking away from any formal objection to PA’s vote because those whose votes he wants for 2024 stormed the Capitol with encouragement he totally didn’t give
I await his justifying his use of “irregardless” as a way to stick it to the elites whose grammar rules are just a sanctification of power meant to keep the masses down
