THREAD: I’ve complied relevant stats about a few OC options I’ve seen being throwing around. I have also graded each option. Let me know what y’all think!
George Godsey: Dolphins TE Coach (2019-P)
After every possession this season, there were two men next to Tua on the sideline- Fitz and Godsey. It seemed like Flores was grooming Godsey to be our OC next season. In 2020 our TEs had 91 rec for a combined 1,066 yards.

Eric Studesville: Dolphins RB Coach (2018-P)
Let’s just say our rushing game hasn’t been something to brag about under Studesville... I mean look at the rushing leaders from 2018-present. It’d be an in-house hire, and he knows Flores... that’s the only positive.
Grade: D

Anthony Lynn: Chargers HC (2017-2020)
33-31 record in LA, helped the Bills lead the league in rushing in 2015/16 season, and showed he favors a fast pace offense once promoted to OC in BUF. Took the QB that analysts felt was a “project” and produced the stats below...

Doug Marrone: Saints OC (2006-2008) Jags HC (2017-2020)
I like this option, he has experience with a system Brees (who Tua draws comparisons to) performed well in. Also, his first year as the HC in Jax, he took them to the conference championship with Blake Bortles.

Bill O’Brien: Patriots QB Coach (2009/10) and OC (2011), Texans HC (2014-2020)
Hard to argue with O’Brien’s experience. AFC Champ his first year as OC. 52-48 as Texans HC (with a 4-12 when Watson tore an ACL). His downfall was his GM skills but he can coach offense!
Grade: B/B+
