GA is the only state where Dems flipped the presidential race, US Senate seats, and a US House seat. Voters of color led the way, with AAPI and Latino turnout setting records in the general (without which Ossoff wouldn't have made the runoff) and Black voters finishing the job.
This cannot be taken for granted. Listen to the organizers who made this happen. Empower them, and support them. And listen to the voters of color who came out in record numbers to deliver this result in Georgia. Don't wait until the next election.
The leaders and organizers who won Georgia should be overwhelmed with job offers today, but again, this has to be about more than the next campaign. Our elected officials now must consider how they will make good on the promise of a more just and equitable society.
