Stability and mobility roll together. Injuries present themselves as lack of mobility when it’s often the body searching for stability to compensate or eliminate pain. That search for stability comes at the expense of joints that require mobility.
Low back pain...joints above and below will lock up to limit global motion driving compensations even further.

Pars fractures are often accompanied by the appearance of tight hams and hips. Many factors here... including pelvic position and motor control.
Pars fx come from extension and rotation. Pelvis is in anterior tilt creating the appearance of shortened hamstrings but the hams often lock up even further to try to drive more stability to an injured joint above.
Reintroducing pelvic motor control with stability will give the hamstrings the opportunity to display their true length and whether it’s a factor in the injury. What you’ll find is introducing stability will give you mobility.

CHASE STABILITY FIRST!
