As we are fighting for Justice and a fair trial for #Rusesabagina.
Let's not forget #DrMunyakaziLeopord wrongfully imprisoned in Muhanga Prison.
In 2016, his case made a spectacle as he was deported from US where he had sought assylum with his family in 2004.
Kagame regime was afraid of this Rwandan scholar to extent that they fabricated charges against him.
They accused him to have committed Genocide.
They made a scene to the University he was teaching in and afterwards, he was suspended. Through the Rwandan Embassy in US, they pressured and manipulated US immigration into deporting him over charges of Genocide.
After a long series of trial 2008 - 2016 he was deported to Rwanda in 2016.
He was immediately convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2017. He asked for a retrial which was granted. The witnesses they had paid and brought to accuse him were the ones to exonerate him.
So, if he was exonerated, why is he still in Prison?
Well, after the prosecution lost the trial. They brought other charges against him, "Denial of Genocide against Tutsi".
They based on a comment he made in a forum organised by the University he was in.
When asked about His opinion on Rwandan Genocide as someone who was at the scene during the time.
He replied "Rwandan Genocide is complicated, there were sides which were thirsty of power and this fueled it."
From Kangaroo court in Rwanda, this was classified as Genocide denying
Afterwards, he was sentenced to 10 years, to which the prosecution asked for more. Now, he is incarcerated forever.
We received exclusive info' that they brought a deal to him asking him to accuse a person (as a witness) in trial for his release. He refused it!
In 2017 after a rush trial, to which they sentenced him to life in Prison, his second son took his life.

That's the tragic story of Dr Munyakazi Leopord.

âš  His life is in Danger, he may be killed at any time!
