The rapid rise in our province of KwaZulu-Natal is especially concerning - over the 4 weeks of December we rapidly reached over 2000 excess natural deaths per week (+132% of predicted value) @MoshabelaMosa @petruccione @Tuliodna @UKZNCHS @krisp_news @AHRI_News @CAPRISAOfficial

And in most provinces (apart from Western Cape) there's again a huge gap between the excess natural deaths and reported COVID-19 deaths - here is KZN for illustration
