If the count as of Wednesday AM holds up, Democrats have a narrow majority in both runoffs.

Gray v. Sanders, 372 U.S. 368 (1963) tossed Georgia's county unit system as violating one-person, one-vote. So, where you live doesn't dictate the strength of your vote.

41% of the state lives in nine metro counties that voted anywhere from 56% to 89% for the Democratic candidates.

Another 10% of the state lives in six 'city' counties that voted anywhere from 59% to 71% for the Democratic candidates.

And 16% of the state lives in ten suburban counties that voted anywhere from 56% to 86% for the Republican candidates.

Then just over 2% of the state lives in fifteen 'black belt' rural counties that voted anywhere from 52% to 72% for the Democratic candidates.

And, about 30% of the state lives in 128 rural counties that voted anywhere from 52% to 91% for the Republican candidates.
