Yearly reminder for ladies, if you're gonna do a nude shoot with a photographer,

1. Ask to see their past work. If you're gonna be naked for anybody, make sure it's worth it. Don't waste your time with men who just wanna put you next to a river or in a tub of sketchy "milk".
2. Walk with a friend or two. If it's a guy friend you've never been exposed to, ask him to hangout outside. If the photographer tells you that you can't bring anyone, red flag. Make sure the photog doesn't plan on having company too.
3. Reach out to others who worked with the person before. Get a review from one or two persons on the photographer's behavior. It may seem like a lot but it's worth it.
4. Contract. Get in writing even if it's an email the rights of the photographer to the photos. Discuss what you're comfortable with. Meaning, if they can use on social media, website etc.
5. Discuss the shots and behavior you're comfortable with. For example, you being fine with the person adjusting your hair but not touching your waist. Wrt shots, be as specific as possible. If you don't want anything full frontal or excessively raunchy, make it known.
Use reference photos to help you describe what you're down to do or not. Tumblr and Pinterest are good resources for reference images.
6. Lastly, if at any point you don't feel comfortable regardless of whether it's the photographer's fault or just a weird feeling, cancel. Even if it's midshoot. Let it be known.
Hopefully I worded everything in a way that makes sense.

Nude and nude implied shoots can be loads of fun if you have a photog you're comfortable with. Comfort and safety are the most important bits though.☺️
Adding to this, there are gross female photographers out there too so be careful regardless. ✨
