Instagram is recommending that brands and creators post:
3 in-feed posts per week (including in-feed Reels or IGTV posts)
8-10 stories per week (and at least 2 a day)
4-7 Reels per week and 1-3 IGTVs per week (including Instagram Live).

Another creator and micro-influencer, following Instagram’s advice, started posting 3-5 Reels a week. They reported a 3.6% increase in followers and a 555% increase in reach within a month.
This is a lot of content for anyone nevermind brands/creators with multiple platforms and outputs to consider. As always, prioritise relevance and quality, BUT this info is useful when planning your ratio of posts. E.g. more Reels than in-feed posts.
