So, I have covid, but I wanted to make a short 🧵because I think it's important. My symptoms aren't typical of covid, I only bothered to have a test because I'd been in contact with someone who had muscle soreness and felt a bit 'meh' (that's it).
My symptoms are a blocked nose, loads of sneezing and my ears feeling plugged. This is all stuff that feels like allergies or at worst just a bit of a cold. Symptoms vary hugely for people, but if I only had my symptoms to go off I would've thought nothing of it.
Lots of us will have no symptoms, or maybe have really minor things like a bit of a sniffle, but my experience highlights how important it is that we stay aware and be CONSIDERATE. Be CAREFUL. What feels like an annoying allergy to me could make someone else really ill -
Or at worst, be a death sentence. Now is not the time for complacency. Vaccines are on the way. Things will get better. Look after yourselves and be mindful *all the time* that you could be infectious. In fact, just assume that you are. That's the end of my 🧵. Yay.
