Jonathan Taylor's film is as fun as I expected. His patience, vision, and ability to maneuver between that tackles are special. Defenses send run blitzes and layers of defenders at him and he still finds creases by setting up blocks or evading the defenders. So much fun.
The patience, discipline to stick to his keys, and subtle movements to set up his blocks on this Duo play, take this play from a loss to a big gain.

When a defense sends a run blitz at him, you expect to create disruption or a TFL.. The Steelers come in waves and Taylor still makes them look silly.
Corners better be ready to tackle, the Colts run DUO more than anyone in the league on 1st and 2nd down.

The defender had Taylor dead to rights
I have an unofficial count of 4 different ways the Colts run Duo. Are you serious here??
How did he get to the backside of this run?! Roquan trying to make the reads for Taylor lol. Smith flashes out wide, so Taylor cuts it back.
The Colts game is well-coordinated. This is a small example of how a lot of their formations/looks utilized may key you into one play, but they may run another.
Taylor draws the LB in for the OT (patience) - then watch his footwork. Chef's kiss...
Chill with that

I LOVE the footwork the Colts incorporate into this run. Buys the OL time to work the combo, to gain as much vertical displacement as possible. But it also gets the 2nd level defender #33 to think it's an outside zone run, so WR can get angle. Watch Taylor set this up & cut...
