It all depends how loudly we can speak.
Conservatives and such are not allowed to speak without opposition, anywhere. This has frayed the conservative ideologies, so there is not unity. Just like in all times before, there are levels of conversation (local, regional, national).

Even though there is no actual unity among general wokeness they are corralled into unity by the people controlling the conversation (who are actually above it, not a vanguard). With as little as 2% of the population, LGBT demands became realized nationally. Now 10%+ ID as LGBT.
He is possibly about to lose this ability through general despair, but @realDonaldTrump's strength has always been creating unity by controlling the conversation. Trump's star has risen through chaos. There is no hegemony, consolidation, apprenticeship, inheritance, or heir.
If Trump wins, how long can he steer the raft? Past waterfalls, rapids, an wolves? Even with his family and the conservative pop to support him, there is a gap between he'd have to suddenly fill with better people than so far.

If Trump loses he probably won't be able to carry the raft up to the top, again. Maybe today isn't the day, but my feeling is this: AGAIN there is a gap between family and base he'd have to suddenly fill with better people than so far! He can choose from the traitors or unproven!
In loss, the raft probably goes off a cliff into destruction.

The movement breaks apart, again, and unity is lost. In the meantime the progressives tighten controls, drive population into submission, single out resisters.

So. Which way, modern man? It is now possibly too late to push the raft teetering on top a mountain the way we want. We'll have to contend with the results as we face burning out.
