Race and Religion in this election are doing interesting work together here. Loeffler and Perdue falling back on the racist Evangelical and Republican tropes about radicalism in terms of Warnock and the Black Church, and the anti-semitism directed at Ossoff failed .
Do not assume that just because Warnock didn't explicitly call out racism or talk about race that it wasn't in play. Loeffler set up her own trap and fell into it. Too bad she was too sold out to Trumpism to see how she screwed herself.
Perdue making Ossoff's nose bigger, Loeffler darkening Warnock's picture? Talk about how the racism backfired. As I've said in a couple of recent talks- The African American- Jewish coalition of the civil rights movement could wreck shop on these racists if we could get together.
Also agree w @esglaude that dems need to quit chasing these blue dog dems and build coalitions with folks. The other big story that needs to be covered in GA is the Latino/Asian American vote that paired up with the black vote to make this happen. Can't wait to see # broken out
