You only exist in your head.

-Thread-
Most people give way too much importance to external judgement and social status

Ignoring the fact that, in the grand scheme of things, most of our actions are meaningless

In this thread Ill show you how no one really exists and why it's important to do as YOU please.
The way I see myself is:

-Perfect
-Self-centered
-Self-confident
-Unbeatable
-Altruistic

This is most likely NOT what YOU think of me.

And I honestly can't know what image of me you have.

Why?

Because I'm not you.

This applies to everyone.
Each person you meet is a different mix of knowledge and experiences

Each exchange you have is set according to different circumstances and mood

All of that affect both your behaviors

Thus affecting how you both perceive each other.
Now include a third person.
In the exact same setting.

You get a 3rd judgement and opinion on both of you.

You can keep replacing and adding people and each one will have a unique and different opinion of the others.

Other people's backgrounds impact heavily how they see you.
Between what you think you are

What you try to be

What you show to others

How they see what you do

How they interpret and judge what you do

There are 5 different versions of you.

Think about how many parameters are taken into account here.

An infinity.
If each person you meet thinks of you in a different way

You, as you imagine it, only exists in your thoughts

Which is the only thing that matters,

Because it is the only version of yourself that you will ever know about

The only YOU that you will meet everyday.
With all that I said in mind..

Do you still think people's opinion of you has any value?

Of course not.

Focus on who you think you are.

You are the only truth.

You make eveything happen.
