We’re a little too obsessed with the idea of having a new President that we don’t pay attention to whether the next will be better or worst. With the Anglophone aspirants, I’m a little scared they might end up taking advantage of this collective desperation.
Maybe we should shift our focus from “just wanting to see another president in our lifetime” to wanting a president that actually works. With the looks of things, we might just accept anything as long as it is change. That doesn’t sit right with me.
We are setting ourselves up for another Presidential abuse. Maybe we can redirect our attention to other options that will work without always fuming over a bad government. They like this attention we give them and they’re using it to fuel their self importance.
Truth is, with or without them, we as humans will always look for a means to survive. Let’s focus on that. Let change from the government become a plus. Seeing as they are not even making attempts to change.
