WhatsApp is absolutely invading online privacy. Use @signalapp instead. The only downside of using Signal is that not many people are using it as of now. In anti-CAA cases it is pretty evident that WhatsApp is not a 'private' space at all. The sooner people abandon it, the better
As for online searches, @brave is a better alternative to Chrome. It's @DuckDuckGo search engine doesn't maintain log of user's searches, doesn't store data unlike Chrome. One can also use DuckDuckGo on Chrome by changing settings but I prefer Brave browser.
As for emails you don't want people to read, I'd strongly suggest @ProtonMail. Absolutely brilliant thing!
