In the past 7 days, less than 1k doses administered. Federal government said yesterday that their "plan" is to start wide-spread vaccinations only on 12 Jan 2021 (since yesterday pulled forward to "this week"). The reason for that? "Well, we agreed on 12 Jan in Q3 2020."

The only Austrian "plan" is to "decentralize" vaccination delivery and administration. That's it. No plan who should be innoculated when or where.
As a result, no one in Austria (public health insurances, doctors, other healthcare providers, the public) knows when they will be able to administer/receive vaccination.
The government does not even plan to track or review vaccination data. Austria's highest-ranking public health official below minister of health says they will have "high-frequency data polling and updates", which means "weekly".
I have been angry about Austria's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic since the summer. But I am absolutely livid about the way the state is handling the vaccinations. Each day of government refusal to do its job kills people.
