Its no secret, but Seth Curry opens up so many things for Philly and Joel Embiid specifically. A light 5-game slate so wanted to get some thoughts out on him and his profound impact. (1/8)
So first, he brings a level of on ball creation that JJ Redick doesn't really possess. This is especially valuable when initial actions die and, of course, in the postseason where the 6er O has certainly experienced some static. (2/8)
This isn't anything that sets the world on fire, but given how frequently Embiid draws doubles in post, Seth's playmaking and general feel is given light in swing swing situations like this. (3/8)
Hayward is initially matched up with Seth, but Terry doubling Embiid triggers Ben Simmons to dive and Hayward is preoccupied. Seth with a nice lift to ATB for a 3. This is standard, but has happened a ton this szn and is fundamental to the 6ers fluidity. (4/8)

Heres the teams shooting splits w/Seth on vs off. What jumped out at me was Philly is +12.2% in at rim accuracy on/off differential AND eFG% differential. (7/7)
Numbers aside, the most vivid thing to me is how the Sixers offense materializes following post-ups when hes out there and its something ill be watching the progression of all year. All in all, a colossal off-szn pickup thus far. (8/8)
