tommy is still recovering from what happened to him in logstedshire. techno offered him a place to stay yes, but he also wanted to destroy his original home and the place he planned on returning to one day. tommy wants the discs because he wants peace, and getting the discs 1/4
would solve almost all if not every single remaining conflict on the dream smp. tommy was angry with tubbo, and rightfully so. tubbo could have visited him in exile, yet he chose not to. as far as i’m aware no one told him he couldn’t visit tommy. tommy saying 2/4
what he did to tubbo about the discs being more important than him came from his anger and trauma. of course what he said isn’t true, but tommy has only just started seeing tubbo again recently. i’d guess it’s been canonically between 2-3 months since he’s had a real convo 3/4
with tubbo, let alone a fun time with him. they’ve fallen out and lost respect for each other.

i don’t know why i’m going on this rant, they’re talking about everything tomorrow. until then?
