Palmeiras have really struggled to bring through youth players in recent seasons but the emergence of Danilo, Patrick de Paula, Gabriel Menino and Gabriel Veron has been a huge plus point for the club's season.
When Ferreira arrived in São Paulo back in October, few expected this level of improvement in such a short space of time. Couple this with a ridiculous schedule - even by Brazilian standards - and any credit attributed to the manager feels deserved.
