I now saw the episode subtitled. Sorry but I think we underestimated this episode a lot.I have to learn not to criticize without seeing the episode with subtitles. The first 30 minutes were very good. #Sençalkapimi
The confrontation scene between grandmother and granddaughter was perfect.
The dialogues and performances 👌

Ayşegül İşsever (Semiha) and Hande Erçel ( Eda) 👏👏
#sençalkapimi
Sorry but I think Babanne is an excellent villain and was a good addition to the cast and story. Unlike Balca and the other villains who appeared in #Sençalkapimi, she is a well-built character. ++
And Ayşegül plays Babanne very well. Sometimes, Ayşegül's performance reminds me of Olivia Colman's (Queen Elizabeth II) performance in The Crown. 🙈🙊. I really hope that babanne is not a temporary character like Efe, Selim and Kaan. #sençalkapimi
Another very good scene in this episode was the scene of Eda and Serkan in prison. I really don't understand why they cut the kiss. Editing damaged the script for this scene. 🤦‍♀️ #sençalkapimi
However, it was very gratifying to watch after so long (+ 7 episodes) an Eda in love with Serkan and suffering because of the possible separation. With these scenes, the new writers revived edser love and made edser love more credible. #sençalkapimi
Another very positive point of the episode was undoubtedly the disinterest and the discomfort that Eda and Serkan showed to the prince and Balca's flirtations, respectively. This unfortunately did not happen in Ayse's script with Efe, Selim and the photographer... #sençalkapimi
Unlike many people, I really liked the script for the breakup scene between Eda and Serkan (I'll explain the reasons later).

Kerem Bursin and Hande Erçel's performances 👌👏👏

We can see the pain in the eyes and on the face of these characters. #sençalkapimi
Eda was constantly pressured by her grandmother's threats but always tried to postpone the breakup until she was cornered and had to give in to her blackmail. In this scene, I think Serkan realized what was happening and what was going to happen. #sençalkapimi
This was evident during this conversation. Serkan is an intelligent, insightful man who knows Eda very well. He knows that Eda hates her grandmother and that she would never care about her. He knows that this is not Eda's speech. #sençalkapimi
He tries to make Eda not give in to blackmail by saying that they both love each other and that no one will be able to intervene in their relationship until he sees that Eda is really determined to give in to her grandmother's blackmail ++ #sençalkapimi
++ when she mentions the death of her parents. With no alternative to continue to refute this breakup, he, completely disappointed with Eda, decides not to prolong this conversation that could become increasingly painful and facilitate Eda's mission. #sençalkapimi
The script for this episode was coherent. There were good dialogues/ some good moments I think the fandom (with me included) exploded on Saturday because we are tired of seeing edser separate and illogical scripts devoid of romance written by Ayse's team. #sençalkapimi
However, the new writers made 3 mistakes in this episode.
1) They should never have reduced the edser scenes in the second half of the episode and written so many scenes for the secondary characters (++ Ayfer, Aydan and the chef). This made the episode very boring + #sençalkapimi
It was over 21 minutes (~ 1/4 of the episode) only with scenes from Ayfer, Aydan and the chef and fans lost their patience. Ayfer is a very controversial character and is not a popular character. Most fans hate this character.++ #sençalkapimi
Therefore, it is a mistake to write many scenes for this character and transform an independent woman into a teenage woman who ignores her niece's suffering and who only thinks about the chef. #sençalkapimi
