It is free to join @LibrariesIre and you can do so online and start using all the services right away. Libraries are closed right now but there are so many online services. Join here: https://www.librariesireland.ie 

When libraries reopen you can use the PCs & printers (my library has a 3D printer) & take out books, cds, dvds & all the box sets. You can order any item from any library across the country & they deliver it to your local library for you for free! There are no late fees anymore!

With your library membership you get access to the @BorrowBox app where you can download audiobooks & ebooks to your device FOR FREE. This is the same as your Kindle store and Audible, just cheaper.

You also get FREE access to @PressReader which allows you to download over 7000 Irish and international newspapers and magazines. This usually costs €30 a month.

With your free library membership you also get access to @RBdigitalUK for even more great free magazines.

With your library membership you also get free access to the terrific @universalclass which has hundreds of online courses for you to study. From accounting to travel writing to photograph there is just so much to learn.

You also have access to Transparent Languages Online so you can learn a new language and you get access to Encyclopaedia Britannica Online with over 72,000 searchable articles and related websites.
