Schools are going to do their best.
But you need to know that good quality teaching and learning for KIDS is impossible online.
That isn’t what you want to hear. But I am not being defeatist. Just telling the truth.

Parents must lead at home, check your child’s understanding of the work provided, give them little rewards for good work and constant pep talks.
Your child’s teacher cannot do this successfully long distance (unless you happen to have an exceptional child). Lucky if you do. 2/4

Most children need you to hold their hand.
I know it is hard when you are working. But do not kid yourselves into thinking because your child is sat in front of a computer, they are learning.
Have a list of subjects and tasks on the wall. Tick them off with your child. 3/4

Maybe older siblings can help with younger siblings.
What is the goal? How are you all going to get there? You need to know. Also, supplement with additional work.
And get them off Snapchat and Instagram, WhatsApp and House Party. Or at least limit it.
