@julieplec here’s a mini thread of things I think would make legacies better (pls interact with this I know there people with better ideas and Julie needs to listen)
One monster per episode it’s too much, it should be 4 or 5 monsters per season, they should be hard to kill and actually have consequences on the plot + a different overarching villain (not malivore) each season, someone like Kai or Katherine.
Stop using fairytales to come up with monsters, use mythology instead, mythology can give you monsters that are more realistic and not so expensive to create, aside from the fact that most of them are really interesting and already have a good story.
Kill important characters, the show doesn’t have any stakes if no one dies, I’m not nervous when they’re fighting a monster because I know everything it’s gonna be fine, it shouldn’t be like that, I should be terrified that the monsters could kill or injure them.
Alaric needs to die, it will have a huge impact on the twins and Hope, it would be a good way to touch on their mental heath and see the way the school deals with Alaric being gone, also he’s been alive for too long, season 3 feels like the right time for him to die.
Hope needs to turn into a tribrid this season, I’m thinking Hope dies in the mid season finale and then Alaric dies in the season finale that way we get to see how vampire Hope deals with that loss since Alaric is supposed to be a father figure for her.
Once Hope turns it would make sense for her witch powers to be gone since she can’t be a witch and a vampire at the same time, she will need to learn how to deal with not having powers anymore and also having to control her vampire instincts at the same time.
Stop braking the universe rules we know compulsion is extremely hard to break so it makes no sense for Dorian (a human) to resist compulsion to save Landon of all people, also he should’ve died when he got hit by the arrow he’s HUMAN.
Make Hosie happen, this is self explanatory.
Stop dressing your villains like that, this is not Disney Channel (Dark Josie deserves better)
Get rid of the wigs or find someone who knows how to work with them pls.
Fire your marketing department their doing a terrible job and hire @feuenfeu that way people will actually watch it.
