Ok I know my take is not going to be popular but hear me out...I was extremely disappointed when I saw the tweet...yes Team Bagley should absolutely not do that. However, I immediately felt for Marvin...
If we’re all honest with ourselves this fan base is fantastic to all players...minus Marvin. I know it stems from the Luka draft, but this kid constantly lives and plays in a shadow...one that he had nothing to do with.
This fan base was better to Jimmer than Bagley & I’m pretty sure that makes zero sense. (Just one ridiculous example)
Because of this I don’t think Marvin owes any of us an explanation....sorry he is not supported here like the other players. Respect comes from both sides and I don’t believe he gets that here like other players.
So, you may all want him to say what u want to hear or what may be the right thing, but he doesn’t owe you anything.
I wish he was afforded the same space as others to grow & build in a positive environment, but that ain’t here. You can see him press & push so hard to prove the haters wrong...it sucks cuz nobody else on the court has that pressure.
Ok I’m prepared for all the hate/angry tweets heading my way, but whatever.
