Thought I'd start a thread looking at the stats of the centre backs in the EFL Championship.

I realise CB's are hard to analyse and stats don't paint a clear or fair picture due to differences in styles/how teams are set-up etc, but thought it may be interesting to take a look..
Starting with tackles...

We can see Andersen has attempted the most tackles per 90.

McKenna and Lockyer - 100% tackle success but a low number of tackles

Helik & Guehi seem to be doing the best overall - high tackle success % and high frequency.

Next, thought I'd look at fouls won & committed.

Again Andersen features, the highest number of fouls p90 (to be expected given the higest attempted tackles!)

Guehi has won the most fouls p90.

Kalas wins a lot of fouls and concedes few.

Who are the best aerially?

Sean Morrison wins the most aerial duels p90 but Jake Cooper has the highest aerial success %

The likes of Harry Souttar, Curtis Nelson, Matt Clarke, Danny Batth and Scott McKenna all look dominant in the air.

Who makes the most interceptions and makes the most blocks?

Again Tomas Kalas features here with a high number of blocked shots.

Andersen & Helik both have a high number of interceptions.

Fry is high in interceptions & blocked shots.

Next, I've looked at distribution by plotting each CB's short pass accuracy and long pass accuracy.

From the graph we can see Cathcart, Kabasele & Chester have over 90% accuracy in both
