Vast majority of Pennsylvanians and others are only going to learn about this PA-45 story right now. Because this was a circus, and the lesson the laypeople will take away is that if the GOP loses close races, they will just not abide by them.
Merits have already been argued in many courts, and the challenges failed. Mail-in ballots turned in on-time & properly (but lacked signatures on declaration envelop) were ruled to be counted. But since GOP didn't like the ruling, they just won't listen. That's the message
Political nerds can argue about these cases for years, but the message that will actually resonate is never that complex. But to the PA GOP in this instance, they don't care what the message is, they need their one extra seat that doesn't even determine control of the chamber
