Nobody can convince me that an astute lawyer like Tsatsu Tsikata didn't know he had to go to the high Court by a petition
Nobody can convince me someone trained by Nana Addo like Frank Davies also didn't know he had to do same in challenging Kofi Adams in Buem

I don't understand how the high Court also granted that injuction but events of 9th December 2020 keeps getting clearer each day

The EC was involved in an illegal gerrymandering to disenfranchise voters in SALL. The same EC has committed an Illegality by failing to collate Parliamentary elections in Techiman South and posting results at collation center

Why is everyone who should know better involved in one illegality or another since 9th December? It's simple; maintain 137-137 and vote for a Speaker and gain majority on 7th January

The plan of the other group also was if the EC is illegally failing to give us a majority before 7th January 2021, why not go through the backdoor in Ho to get 137-136

In the end the side the EC is on won but it's sad and dangerous for our democracy that all these are happening

But take heart because after 7th January when the Speaker is finally sworn in, lawyers like Tsatsu Tsikata and Frank Davies will start doing the legal(right) things but will an EC officer be punished for any wrongdoing?

Former Attorney General and currently Ghana's ambassador to Canada believes the law should start punishing EC officials who engage in such acts

So on 7th January 2021, this is what will happen and I pray I'm wrong
The NPP will put up current Speaker Michael Aaron Ocquaye up for Speaker position and the NDC will also put up the most experienced MP under 4th republic Alban Bagbin up for Speaker

Even though the vote will be by secret ballot, the stakes will be so high that the final vote tally is likely to be 138-137 in favor of Ocquaye

So after all the brouhaha, will the 8th Parliament work in harmony? Only the NDC NEC knows what to tell their members in Parliament
This shouldn't have gotten to this but let's hope cool heads will prevail
