1/ Today, my MP said that I wasn't allowed in a group entitled 'Mansfield Constituents' (of which I am one) becuase my purpose in joining was solely to be 'disruptive' and because I had called him rude, abhorrent and lacking intelligence re
2/ the #BlackLivesMatter campaign. He told me that it was 'entirely' up to him who he allows into this group as it 'allows him engage constructively with constituents' and is a 'proactive addition to [his] basic duties'.

So, what he's essentially admitted, via email is that
3/ a page that he is in charge of, but employs people to run, is private and not open and honest. That it is selective membership, and not as its title suggests 'Ben Bradley's Mansfield Constituents'. Instead, it's his little echo chamber.
As a result of this confirmation,
4/I will be reporting him to the standards authority for not adhering to the parliamentary code of conduct re duty of openness whereby MPs are expected to 'be as open as possible'.
5/ Running a group entitled 'Ben Bradley's Mansfield Constituents' and using the members to conduct polls, the data of which he regularly refers to often with dangerous semantics such as 'most of Mansfield' etc. does, in my humble opinion, support a dangerous agenda,
6/and not allowing a diversity of thought and belief into such a group only seeks to undermine the concept of democracy. If it was entitled 'Ben Bradley and his fan club', the story would be a different one. But this is manipulation. Many others have the same experience
7/ of having been refused access to a page specified as being for them, as constituents of Mansfield.

@BBradley_Mans, everybody. My MP.
