This is worth pulling out to discuss separately.
First: I love, respect, and support @HollyConrad. I'm doing this so we can have as nuanced a discussion as Twitter allows about a complex, many headed subject.

I saw @HollyConrad, @bluejay_712 and recently @cypheroftyr all get subjected to terror by an ill informed holier than thou mob weighing in on things that they didn't understand, and quite frankly were none of our business. Public people are allowed private lives, and people LIE 3

Especially when their is clout in spreading the lies.
So, I try to ask myself a simple question: Does what I just heard 1. Make sense? 2. Is there proof? And 3. IS IT MY BUSINESS? People are allowed free will and contradictory opinions. This does not make them evil, or YOU good 4

HOWEVER it took about 35 seconds for this douchenozzle to come in with this false-equivalency bullshit. Those of us who've been systemically disenfranchised aren't trying to hear YOU CALLING ME RACIST IS JUST AS BAD AS ME BEING RACIST. F*ck that, f*ck you, f*ck off. Not today 5/

So, what to do?
I've grappled with this knowing that Gina Carano is a trash human, but I don't want her fired. Why? She's allowed to be a trash human, I'm just not a fan. I don't have to respect a person's opinion, just that they get to HAVE an opinion. No one wins a flame war 6

I can't tell you how to proceed, but I ask myself 3 simple questions:
1. Are they hurting anyone?
2. Are they in a position of influence?
3. Does this involve me in any way?

Then gauge my outrage appropriately from 0 to over 9,000. Check sources. Loudest doesn't mean right. 7/

BONUS POINT:
If you read this and felt compelled to come at me with ANYTHING about SJWs, lame false equivalencies, or anything else I will rinse you. We're adults and should be capable of parsing systemic corruption from social media gossip.
