Trying to make explain of how Luka Doncic’s play has differentiated when playing with one of the Mavericks’ three big-men (Powell, Kleber, and WCS) this season.

THREAD:
Luka when Powell is on:

• Lack of spacing, Doncic is just 2-of-15 (13.3%) from deep
• Struggling to get looks around the rim, shooting about 20% worse than his season average
• Lack of good shots in general, 35.6 FG%
• The pair is -17 together this season
Luka when Kleber is on:

• Holy spacing — shots still aren’t falling, but he’s taken 12 more 3PA then he has with Powell
• Lane opening up really well for him, shooting a blistering 73.1% at the rim
• Luka shooting a much better 49.1 FG%
• The pair is +31 together this season
Luka when Cauley-Stein is on:

• Small sample size, just 55 minutes together
• Best 3P% out of the three pairs at 35.3
• Shots at the rim also look very good, despite small sample size
• The pair is an incredible +41 together this season
