In LA, if you call and ambulance they HAVE to take you to the hospital and wait with you until you get a bed, even if you called for a dumb reason. I’m talking “stubbed toe, dust in my eye, someone yelled at me” dumb. And these calls are still happening during the current crisis
If you call and decide you don’t want to go, they don’t have to take you. But if you insist on being taken to the hospital, no matter what the reason, they have to take you and wait with you, sometimes for 16 hours. Those are all examples of real calls. Don’t do this!
Especially during a pandemic!
