In all seriousness, this is offensive and outright wrong in for many reasons.

But I think it is also reflective of a universal human need to feel some sense of control.

A man with all of the resources in the world, eating a restrictive diet, hoping to live forever.

Bad things happen to good people regardless of actions.

As a physician I see it every single day.

Conditions that occur no matter what you eat or how you live.

And yes, many conditions have environmental contributors but these can be outside of ones control.

Organic healthy food is not cheap or easy to prepare.

Up to 83.5 million (17.7% of population) live in census tracts with limited access to a store.

And racism contributes with 30 percent more non-white residents facing limited access than their white counterparts.

And I don't see Whole Foods moving into those areas, or working on ways to make nutritious foods more available.

And food is just one example of many.

Stop blaming people without options for making poor choices.
