A few lessons I've learned from reading 50 books 📚 in 2020.

Thread 👇
1/ Read about what you love and intrigues you the most.
2/ Promote reading when at rest. It's much more efficient, reason why I often read early in the morning.
3/ Reading is like exercising. Build an habit and train your persistence. You'll collect more value if you read regularly.
4/ Quality > Quantity.

Enjoy the journey instead of being obsessed with the results. The more you enjoy the reading, the more books you'll end up reading.
5/ Reading is an investment of time and money. Make the best out of it:
• Take notes and share them with others
• Mark the pages that taught you the most
• Don't go fast forward. Sway between the books' ideas to build networked thoughts
6/ Integrate yourself in a community:
• Follow people like @AlexAndBooks_ and @juvoni to get inspired
• Create a Goodreads account and connect with people that will push you to be curious
• Find blogs/platforms that you can contribute to with book reviews
7/ Pick the right book in the right timing.

Plan your education by determining where you want to focus next. Each book will contribute with a unique set of ideas to your education. Don't leave those ideas hanging around - frustration will pile up.
8/ Listen to the authors on podcasts. It usually offers the book's main ideas for free in 30min or less. Buy the book if you want to build profound knowledge on the matter.
