4 game sample size and all, but I basically think Hurts is a below average passer who doesn't process well, has average arm strength & struggles in the pocket. But he's an elite runner who will make splash plays weekly with his legs and can extend plays bcos of it.
I feel like if you want to build around him, you need to sort of commit to what he is and build a very specific offense that is built on running the ball first with a variety of RBs and concepts. I personally do not like that approach but it has had some success in the league.
I also doubt whether that is what Doug wants his offense to be but if Hurts is the guy next year then he will probably have to adjust.
