What bad luck for this thirsty ocelot!
In this Natural History Field Note published in @Biotropica, we provide photographic evidence of a rare intraguild killing event by a jaguar on an ocelot in Northern Guatemala.

This site had twice the mammal activity of any other waterhole surveyed that year. Here, we recorded at least seven different jaguars, an encounter between two of them, and a jaguar chasing a young tapir.
