2020 saw us engage young people who've experienced domestic abuse to co-create a new resource, SOMETIMES IT HURTS, that aims to give language to a topic adults who work with young people can be afraid to broach.

Illustrator @tameks_g is busy creating work to accompany the 6 stories told from the perspective of young people by writer @bridgetwriting, while artist @AnimatorSheryl is waiting in the wings to develop an animation to be used with schools & professionals supporting young people

We're grateful to all those who've supported the development of this work through our steering group.

Thanks to funds from Bishop Auckland & Shildon AAP, @BishAuckBigLoc & @AapStanley we'll be piloting training & resource sharing with teachers in those areas in the summer term.
