5⃣ things I wish someone told me before I started my company

👇
1⃣ Landing your first client is the hardest

Landing the first few and doing a great job is critical. This leads to referrals and more business

Persistence is 🔑. Don't give up and keep going.

2⃣ Soft skills are underrated

Being really good at internet marketing and building websites will only get you so far if you don't have soft skills.

Effective communication, sales skills, transparency, and delivering on your promises is more important than any tech stack
3⃣ Invest in yourself and invest in tools

Invest in yourself by continuing to improve your skills and knowledge. This is what clients are ultimately paying you for.

Invest in tools that will make you more efficient, and lead to higher sales
4⃣ Surround yourself with likeminded people

You will learn the most from other entrepreneurs and people who are already successful.

People willingly share ideas and knowledge because it helps them learn and there is nothing more rewarding than helping others.
5⃣ Quick growth will require marketing dollars

Sure you can grow organically, but for quick growth, you will need some marketing dollars 💰💵

Think of it in terms of SEO (organic search results - takes time) vs SEM (paid search - quick results, lots of traffic)
