A THREAD. Retweet for others...

1) BAD OR POOR CONTENT.
That's right boss, your content ain't that good. Ok, fvck sugarcoating, YOUR CONTENT IS BAD! I mean, why would anyone want to follow you when your content is mid. But, you create bad content now doesn't mean you can't get better.

You might think, nahh this content is fire, then boom, you ain't getting engagements. Nobody engaged you, not because you are underrated, but most likely because your content is bad. True, there are times you'd create good contents, and still get low engagement,
but this seldom happens. So, instead of focusing more on engagements and followers, focus more on creating good contents. Make researches in your niche, take your time. Nothing good comes easy.

2) YOUR CONTENT IS GOOD, BUT YOU ARE INCONSISTENT.
Yes, you have good contents, you create good contents. But, the problem is you are not consistent with your content. When a user follows you because of a specific content, they did that because they found value in it, therefore,
Yes, you have good contents, you create good contents. But, the problem is you are not consistent with your content. When a user follows you because of a specific content, they did that because they found value in it, therefore,
they would be expecting you to make more amazing contents like the one that attracted them to you. But, when you become inconsistent, you don't drop contents regularly, they most probably would end up unfollowing you, because they aren't getting anything from you again.
Let's take me for example, as of July, I had 700+ followers on IG, I started creating great contents, and in less than a month, I gained over 200 followers. But, after a month, I suspended the content, and took a break off social media, by doing that, I went from...
900+ followers then, to 814 followers now. Why? I became very inconsistent. So inconsistency would hinder your growth a lot.
3) YOU DON'T ENGAGE OTHERS.
Wow, so you want engagement, but you don't want to engage others? How boss??? Over here, it's quid quo pro, scratch my back I scratch yours. If you don't engage other tweeps, you're most likely not going to get followers.

Even if you have amazing, you still have to try engaging others. If you see a tweet you can relate to or a content you like, retweet, like or better still comment, you commenting on another person's tweet can get you more followers.
ENGAGE OTHERS!!!
ENGAGE OTHERS!!!
4) WHEN YOU REPLY TWEETS, YOU ONLY QUOTE THEM, YOU DON’T REPLY DIRECTLY.
Ok, wait don't come for my head yet. I know you'd say a lot of quoted tweets had "banged", and all. But, most often, it's savage replies that bangs. There's nothing bad in quoting tweets, but if you...

just started growing your account, do more of replying under tweets than quoting em. Replying directly gives you a higher chance of getting engagements as a small account. The only way a small account get engagement by quoting is, if the owner of the main tweet retweets
the quoted tweet. Even as a big account, you should do more of replying tweets directly than quoting tweets.
5) YOU DON'T HAVE A SPECIFIC NICHE.
95% of Twitter users fall under here. You don't have a specific niche, you just flow with the vibe. You post any content you come across. If you truly want to build your twitter account organically, then you need to pick a specific niche,

don't divert or shit like that. Don't post contents about food today, cats tomorrow, dogs tomorrow. Have a specific niche, create content around that niche. Something you want to be known for, when someone sees your account, they should know what your contents are about.
Mr macaroni is known for comedy skits.
Shank is known for comic stories, comedy, literally anything funny.
Alex is known for mad puns.
Smithie is known for giving daily drama updates on the TL.
Aproko doctor is known for health updates, and so on.
