#MarvinLewis is a Master rebuilder. No one can tell me different. The rebuild he had to do in Cincinnati was major . Any of these teams that are low right now should be hiring him. Very few can do the rebuild he had to do with #Bengals. I was there! Can’t tell me different. #NFL

Marvin is a great Organizer. A very underrated Characteristic trait of a good Head Coach! We struggled with Oraganizing from 96-02. He brought us up to standard. Up to Code .
Long time coaches and Players of bengals when Marvin got there were amazed at the things He convinced Mike Brown to do . Mike gave Marvin a lot of resources except (Bubble)
that we didn’t have in the past and his impact showed immediately! We can’t forget!

Damn where was I ? I’m having a huge ass plumbing repair done in my home . Had to stop I was on a roll. 2009 season ? Yea I was retired wondering how would they ever recover? Back then I was still heated at @Bengals for cutting me a year early.

Marvin asked me “ to come to Bengals vs Ravens in 09” I was like “hell no” I was mad y’all. I absolutely loved my time in Cincinnati even the bad years and wanted to retire there in front of the fans I loved and played for. So getting cut devastated me! I got over it by 2012.

Old Marv pulled a rabbit out his hat in 2009. Got 2 new Coordinators and 09 was a World wind season . Remember we lost Chris “Slim” Henry R.I.P that year . I wasn’t on that team but I help raised Slim those first 4 years of his career. That was a sad time for entire organization
Mike Brown loved Chris Henry and did a lot of things under the table for him “ off the books” There I said it. I know cuz I was apart of it and helped too. For Marvin to pull that team together after Slim’s funeral was a Masterful job! Guys were really emotional over Slim!
So 2009 they won the division with a revamped offense focused on running the ball and had a scrappy Starless Defense that played their ass off. This begin the era of “ CEO Marvin Lewis” his greatest Trait! He found star coordinators from 09-15. And drafted very well!
