Its interesting when people say ‘go and do your research’ in regards to healthcare and medicine, as if you’re researching top ten restaurants for Mexican cuisine.

What are you looking for when you a layman are researching medicine? Do you understand what you’re reading?
I’m not saying you shouldn’t do any research, but we should also be cognisant of the skill and expertise Doctor’s spend years training to acquire.

They are not your mates, yet some of you address them like they owe you money.
The hours you spend spiralling down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole on YouTube does not give you the right to sit on large platforms spewing potentially fatal misinformation.
Doctors and healthcare professionals will spend hours in hospitals witnessing horrors we can’t even begin to imagine, only to then deal with wayward attention seekers committed to speaking on things they know nothing about.

They can’t be ignored because people are dying.
