Honestly the most annoying thing about draft Twitter is the absolute staunch commitment to “right at the time” and acting like there was no way anyone could’ve known that guys would be different that they predicted https://twitter.com/spartymoshow/status/1346458827953213449
Like yes, you put in the work, respect, but so did FOs and scouting departments and they reached a different conclusion, it’s all probabilities, the stubborn refusal to admit that is bizarre
Just like, if there was more collective acknowledgement that draft projections are incredibly imprecise no matter how much film you watch, people would react far less poorly to disagreements or when people get proven wrong it’s bizarre
Especially since very clearly you can reach different equally/more valid conclusions w the same data! 30 teams who all seem to draft differently, some are dumpster fires but there’s seemingly man different equally valid methodologies to draft analysis
As always, it’s great that pp is balling out, but doing any post draft analysis or grades before at least 1 season is malpractice, the 2016 class is just now starting to look developed and might even keep growing!
