Students value the chance to check-in for a chat to show you care.
It's hard for teachers, parents and young people.
Reach out for help and support if you are struggling, technically, emotionally.

Clarity of instructions and clarity of the learning task key for success.
Ask students what is working what is not and why it is hard. Get their feedback.
Last time my students preferred more small tasks than one long task for sense of progress.

Clarity of task = two click test, add hyperlinks so work is accessed in two clicks.
Make sure documents uploaded are accessible across platforms and for task requested.
PDF good for reading, not good if you want blanks completed

Be clear what the tasks are for the students and what the deadline is for the task.
Add simple steps, unlike in person you are not there to provide clarity or repeat instructions.
Be realistic with clear expectations.
