The bits and pieces as I understand it up to now #wafc -

1. The problem didn't go away with Garrido. The EFL didn't trust Cliverd either.
2. Moreno was never really that interested in buying us, which prompted the drop in the bid price
3. The Spanish have been hawking (1/5)
players around all the agents, ready to sell, and the EFL were notified of this
4. Cliverd had no idea that documents had been lodged with HMRC this week, so it looks like the plan for Moreno would just be to sell us on asap
5. A crop of new bidders have appeared, (2/5)
including from America (poss a previous bidder), Qatar and at least one local interested party in addition to the Frampton and Ranson interest
6. The EFL will not allow liquidation to happen
7. Begbies appear to have been clinging on to the Spanish bid to protect their (3/5)
own interests. That all changes now, and I assume they will now look to get a new buyer in asap as they are already at the limit on the fees they can charge. More work for them does not mean more money (4/5)
There's a lot more to come in the next day or two, of course, but we'll see #wafc (5/5)
